Fountainhead Development Inc., established in 1985, is locally owned and operated in Fairbanks.  We are involved in a diverse range of business activities with a focus on commercial real estate development and management.  We own and manage four hotels, over half of a million square feet of commercial leasing space, and a year-round Commercial Construction Division.

FDI is the largest hotelier in Fairbanks, operating Sophie Station Hotel, Wedgewood Resort, Bear Lodge and the Bridgewater Hotel. Between these four properties, there are 700 hotel rooms, four restaurants, two lounges, one internet cafe & gift shop, and a beautiful convention facility.

Our current projects include the Wedgewood Wildlife Sanctuary (at Wedgewood Resort) scheduled to open this summer (2008) and the Fountainhead Antique Auto Collection - to be housed at Wedgewood Resort (open 2009).

We staff of over 175 year round employees and 200 additional seasonal employees in a variety of jobs from construction to restaurants and hotels!
